a Canadian woman who grew up on the prairies of Alberta, loves the mountains of the Rockies, and explores the depths of the human experience.

She writes stories that are grounded in the everyday, often with a female protagonist where characters face the ugliness and beauty of life. The writer perspective is that of a moralist with a wholesome, yet realistic, view depicting characters with G-rated principles trying to navigate an R-rated world.  Susanna's work has a feeling of nostalgia about it, often makes one chuckle, and has been described as evoking "heartwarming heartbreak."

Susanna is an award-winning author with a Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, UK and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
